Hull FC club captain Lee Radford will appear before the RFL's disciplinary committee tomorrow night after being charged with punching during Hull's 18-14 defeat to Leeds at the KC Stadium on Saturday.

Radford lashed out at Rhinos forward Ryan Bailey in the 10th minute and was shown a red card by referee Ian Smith.

The charge is rated as a grade A offence which could see Radford banned for one game or escape with 'sending off sufficient'.

If banned for one game, Radford will miss Saturday's derby against Hull KR, the side he was linked with moving to before he signed a new two-year deal at the KC Stadium last week.

“lee radford should have got 10 mins end of storey. one week before 2 men fighting 10 mins finnished.. lets look at a change in the rules the video ref can win you a game or lose it for you we have seen that a lot this year. my change would be give the 2 players 10mins and let the video ref decide if a player or players come back on the field after 10mins if this had happend bailey would not have come back on the field and radford would have played the last 60mins.people will say not all games are on sky but we always see all the super league trys everyweek so this is possible.”

“Slammer : I've read a lot of your posts on here - not surprising, since for some reason you seem to love hanging around the FC pages and posting your comments - and to be honest, I think you're quite a sad case. On the one hand, the way you write suggests that you're actually reasonably intelligent - more so than most of the Rovers fans who come on here. Set against that, you're the type of bloke who can't resist having a dig about every single thing that FC do. In your eyes, it doesn't matter what FC, or anyone connected with FC, does - it will always be wrong. For example, the other day you were having a niggle about FC not giving their youngsters a chance. But we all know that if FC put a few youngsters in, you'd be the first to accuse them of throwing them in the deep end too early. My family have been FC supporters dating back over 80 years, and I was brought up with the idea that, whilst I always wanted FC to do better than Rovers, if Rovers were in a final against a team from out of town, then I'd support them. But those were the days when fans of both clubs worked and socialised togther - and the banter between them was genuine banter. These days people like you love to try to wind up the opposition on forums like this - to a degree you wouldn't have the guts to do face to face. It's not just you of course - there's others like you from West Hull as well as East. But the end result is to drive a wedge between the 2 sets of supporters and to create animosity between them. Shame on you - you seem bright enough to know better, but are happy to be dragged down to the level of the idiots who can only post tripe.”

“I notice none of the dobbins are talking about bailey kneeing radders in the nuts as he elbowed him repeatedly. If that was a kr player you posts on here would be completely opposite to what you idiots are posting! At least call it as you see it and not through your peautrid hate FC glasses (forgive my spelling).”

“Bailey was dirty and he was dangerous. 3 elbows into a skull can cause untold damage to a brain along with nasty head wounds - Radford for his part smacked him back and brought out the claret which was frowned on - Bailey should have walked the c*** end.”
