Hull FC will have plenty of tricks up their sleeves, says Peter Gentle
PETER Gentle says Hull FC will have an unpredictability about them this season as their style of play will change week to week.
Keen to ensure his side has a few tricks up its sleeve, Gentle has worked on developing a number of playing styles.

He says a specific style has been identified for early season, when his squad is still gelling together.
However, he expects that style to evolve as the season progresses, adapting to cope with differing conditions and opponents.

"You have to be able to adapt to the weather and the opposition, and there are a lot of things that go into it, but we feel there are a few different styles we can play now," Gentle told the Mail.
"It is going to take time for everyone to gel and we are still learning about each other, but we have a style that will suit us and that will evolve as we get used to each other more in the coming weeks and months."
Eager to see his side play with more pace and flair this year, Gentle has recruited winger Jason Crookes and full-back Shannon McDonnell to add genuine pace.
But despite that desire to be more open in their attacking style, Gentle is aware the winter-weather start to Super League means a modified approach is necessary.
And he accepts that keeping the error count down is key early in the campaign.
"We have worked out a style of play that will suit us for the start of the year and that will evolve as the season goes along," added Gentle.
"The certain style we want to play at the beginning of the season will mean, I'd hope, that the error count won't be high.
"We know we have a team that can score points, it is about getting our defensive structure right early on and building from there."

“Will one of the tricks be McDonnell scoring a Try by touching down with his feet. He seems to play at everything else feet-first.”

“I wonder if a plastic fork counts as a 'trick up their sleeves'?
My client and his two minders went out to buy a family takeaway for the Slug and it all went horribly wrong.
The defence rests it's case.

“I was glad that McDonnell left last Season, he was a non-trier, he was lacking in courage and commitment.
After seeing Greg Eden on Sunday I became ecstatic that he'd left.”

“Hull FC will have plenty of tricks up their sleeves
Lets hope one of their tricks is a get out of Jail free card.
One of your young signings is going to need it.
Still no statement from the club.

“Hull FC will have plenty of tricks up their sleeves, says Peter Gentle...
Is one of these tricks where Sharron Mcdonut disappears? If so we've seen it.”
