Hull FC's 'Challenge 10k' season tickets scheme proves a hit with fans
HULL FC are delighted with the response to their 'Challenge 10k' scheme, following the excitement around the new season pass marketing campaign.
The club has set a target of selling 10,000 season passes before the opening game of 2013 and has promised to give away £10,000 to one fan if they meet their target, plus 10 other money-can't-buy prizes, including a day out with Gareth Ellis, training with the squad and a State of Origin holiday. Having reached 2,000 in record time, the current total of 2,215 is a 60 per cent increase on last year.

James Clark, the club's head of communications, media and marketing, said: "Gone are the days where we can just assume supporters will come back regardless. They need to see a commitment and passion from the club on and off the field and this is one way we believed we could do that."
As part of the initiative, one FC pass holder is picked at random to win a prize after every 1,000 sales.

This week Steve Kirk won the chance to meet Shaun McRae, Peter Gentle and the first-team squad while enjoying a VIP box with nine guests at the opening game of next season.
Current season pass holders have until October 27 to reclaim their seat for 2013. Fans wishing to take advantage of the direct debit scheme must buy their pass by September 30.
Season passes can be bought in person from the club's retail stores at the KC or Savile Street, by post or by on the phone by ringing (01482) 304 963.
