Coach Steve McNamara has retained 16 players from the team that beat Wales 80-12 last weekend. Wigan full-back Sam Tomkins also comes in, while Warrington forward Ben Harrison replaces the injured Sean O'Loughlin.
McNamara said: "We have healthy competition for places across all areas and no one is guaranteed their place.

“Can't believe people are criticising the decision, McNamara is doing the right thing by giving as many players as he can a chance so when it matters ie the World Cup next year. I would have made bigger changes, we know all we can about Morley, Sinfield, Ellis I would have given Bateman, Taylor and some more youngsters a chance lets see if they can make the step up.”

“This "bum's on seats" selection makes a mockery of International Rugby League.”

“This is a "dead rubber"and so an obvious chance to make changes. Given that Hall and Roby are certainties next year Briscoe and Houghton should have been selected. Another possible idea would have been Tomkins to play off-half as England will need every tactic and trick in the book [and a few not written yet] to succeed next year.”

“Oh dear the unemployed benefit scroungers are on here again today led by Twiglets aka Where's _Ranji aka THIRTY2THIRTY etc etc etc and of course the ageing old queens, auntie Slammer and Bridrobin. She gets more and more excited as the week goes on looking forward to her night out with her "young nephews" at Fuel.ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
JUST HEARD THAT SALTER IS ON HIS WAY TO AUSTRALIA TO JOIN PETERSEN AND SHERRIFF AS SOON AS HE RECOVERS FROM HIS SHOULDER OPERATION LOL OH DEAR ANOTHER YOUNG PLAYER LEAVES THE SINKING SHIP.HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA
I see the so called business man who wants to invest in the Dobbins owns TWO PIZZA SHOPS but Hudgell has to take what ever he can get because WITHOUT URGENT FURTHER INVESTMENT,THE DOBBINS WON'T LAST THE SEASON WITHOUT GOING INTO ADMINISTRATION.
Still when you think about it,one nights takings from a Pizza shop would be more than enough to buy out the Dobbins who have no assets and very little support.
All their young good players have either left or are leaving and the chatter on the Leeds web sites says that now that Leeds have had their offer for Bradford's Lulia turned down, they have turned their attentions to Kris Welham, who would relish a move to a big club.
THE DOBBIN'S SEASON PASS SALES ARE STILL STALLED ON 2,000 WHICH IS ABOUT THE FIGURE THEY'LL END UP.”

“Pretty obvious decision and we all know why ;)
England will win easily but I'm still looking forward to the game, I'm already missing my Rugby League.
I'm particularly looking forward to listening to Darren Lockyer an absolute legend of the game.
