We didn't play derbies for 10 years because we were not in superleague, you only got in and stayed in superleague for reasons that are in my earlier post(with the exception of explaining your old (faithful) ground wasn't even suitable for 2nd division rugby as it contravened H&S rules by being made of wood. So you had to either take a handout from the council, by moving to Hull City's ground, or stop trading as HFC, which you have done anyway.
We last won PROMOTION, not given a right to stay in superleague on the back of a Premiership football team who pay for the upkeep of the ground, pay for the gate/ticketing staff amongst other things.

Ellis has played in Oz for years, occasionally coming here for a week or 2, quite different even you must agree, to playing here in sub zero temperatures week in week out, not to mention training in it.
