Hull KR want Dale Ferguson on full-time deal
HULL KR coach Craig Sandercock will try and keep Dale Ferguson at Rovers after his one month loan ends.
Ferguson, who joined the Robins on loan from Huddersfield two weeks ago, scored his first try since June 3 in Rovers' 44-18 win over Widnes on Sunday.

The back rower has impressed in both games he has played under Sandercock and the Aussie coach would be interested in making the move permanent.
"If I had an opportunity to keep him longer, I would want to," Sandercock told the Mail.

"Dale is on loan for a month, but after that we will sit down and go from there.
"At this stage he is doing everything we have asked of him. He has fitted in really well.
"All in all I'm very happy with him, but what I want is not always what I get."
Ferguson is again expected to be named in Sandercock's squad for Sunday's trip to basement side Salford, who have lost their last 10 games since beating Rovers on July 8.
But with a 6.15pm kick-off scheduled to ensure the match can be screened live by Sky, Sandercock isn't happy with the timing.
"I'm not in favour of the kick-off time," added the KR coach. "Traditionally on a Sunday you would expect to play at 3pm."
• LINCOLN Withers could return at Salford after having 18 stitches removed from a forehead wound. Liam Salter (dead leg) is also back in first-team in contention.

“Old pointy ears both Cox and Griffin had the first 2 games to impress and both failed, Cox more than Griffin,George had a magic game against Hull in the friendly and tackled well in the 2 league games but at the moment gives no go forward.Regards Coxy miles away at the moment.

“Ferguson is the reason our pack has suddenly got its game together. I really hope we can do the deal on this one because he is the most complete 2nd row man we have!
I am not keen on seeing a Rovers' side without him at the moment, and I am hoping that my hunch is right that the Giants would rather save money than spend it!
My only fear is (like Charnley and Wigan) we may have alerted the Giants as to how good Fergie really is!
Here's hoping! Come on Rovers, it's our chance to go above our nearest and dearest for the first time this season!”

“forest- to think saying something like that shows a low intellect, but to print it into full public view shows what a pleb you surely must be. not remotely funny.”
