Hull Kingston Rovers' Christmas street party to launch new kit

Hull KR players are set to bring a taste of Super League atmosphere to the city centre on Thursday (December 6) as they host a Christmas street party to mark the launch of their 2013 playing kit.

Rovers relocated their retail store to Savile Street in October. Now, they have teamed up with neighbouring retailers and the Hull Business Improvement District to organise the festive event, packed with attractions and activities for all the family.

Savile Street will be bustling with action from 6pm, including a BMX display provided by Street Freak, dance performances from the Robinettes and award-winning local dance group, Skyline, live music hosted by Bad Dog Music and a £10k Rovers lottery draw.

Mike Smith, Rovers' chief executive, said: "We wanted to do things a little differently this year.
