Hull Lacrosse Club start season with home clash against City of Stoke
HULL Lacrosse Club kick off their North of England Lacrosse Association Premier 3 campaign on Saturday with a home fixture against new club, City of Stoke.
Hull are entering their fourth season of competitive action, whilst the boys from the potteries are go into their debut season, selecting players from a number of universities in the Stoke area.
Meanwhile, Hull will be drawing on a number of experienced heads for this opening fixture.
Sam Hanson returns for his second season between the pipes with the usual suspects of Gareth Cornelius, Josh Wilkinson and Paul Hutchinson in defence.

James Spence returns from a year at university to lead the midfield with Richard Lee, whilst Club Captain Jack Stamford will be looking to pick up where he left off, having ended 2011/12 with over 50 goals.
Stamford is joined in attack by Dean Johnstone and Darryl Harris, both key members of the team over the last two seasons.
Alongside these experienced heads will be a number of debutantes. Defender James Agar, midfielders Malcolm Kent and Danny Eckersall, and attacker Dan Thompson complete the line-up.
City of Stoke LC are an unknown quantity, but Hull will be hoping to kick-start their promotion campaign with victory in this opening fixture.
