“I was cycling at 25mph and so he had no need to pass me as the speed limit is 20mph.
As for inside/outside it is in the HC as filtering and here is a video of it in action.
    Enjoy.

“Takatoo...was it because you were faster than he, or was it because your overtaking (inside/ outside/over the top) him and he doesn't know what your gonna do next. If he'd turned and wiped you out, I suppose you want some sort of compo.
People forget that as a citizen, whether one is on a bike or walking or driving etc., one is supposed to consider the other person.
Good job it wasn't me or I'd have 'had yer'.
Do as I say not as I do!”

“There is no wonder I video all of my bike rides with these callous idiots around. I was even chased up Rosmead St and Holland St on Saturday by some nutjob in a white van who objected to me being faster over the humps than him.”

“So why has the city spent hundreds of thousands of quid on 'Safety' cameras? Aren't they working? Are we blaming 'the dcuts' again?
It's true, people should be more responsible for themselves but that doesn't give a driver the right to knock people over and if they're caught they should get a ban...assuming they have a licence, that is.”

“Not surprised - drivers go far too fast along this section of Anlaby Rd - hope they throw the book at him if they catch him.”

“Walking diagonal? Peop;e need to look after their own safety and not leave it to drivers who are allways blamed. proportionate compension should apply!!”

“No amount of cycling on the pavements could cause the fatalities, injuries or traffic chaos - such as seen the other day on Castle Street - as do drivers acting illegally, yet the police continue to crack down on it, while seemingly turning a blind eye to myriad 24/7 driving offences.

    Hope the girl is OK.

If the driver is caught, nothing will happen to them.”
