'Hull will show the rest of the country'
The Government has imposed crippling cuts on the city, which it insists will have to be carried out over the next two and half years and beyond.
By 2015, the council will be spending a third less on services to old, young, working and unemployed.
Not content with council jobs, the Government is in the process of taking more money from working people, the sick and the vulnerable through their welfare reform.
This is another attack on Hull.

Labour was swept into office in Hull promising it would fight the cuts.
Now is the time for councillors to stand up for the people of Hull. We need Labour councillors and MPs to campaign alongside trade unions and communities to build a campaign that will stop the cuts.
A lead from Hull will show the rest of the country what campaigning can do.
