Hull's Blockbuster stores not earmarked for closure, administrators confirm
Hull's three Blockbuster stores are safe - for the foreseeable future, at least.
Administrators for the chain today announced they would be closing a further 164 stores as part of an "ongoing review" of Blockbuster's portfolio.

A spokesman for the company told the Mail the stores in Newland Avenue, Holderness Road and Anlaby Road were safe "for now".
Lee Manning, joint administrator, said: "We have continued to review the performance of individual stores since our appointment a month ago and have concluded that further closures are necessary in order to restructure the company for sale.
