Hull's Scope charity shop gets major makeover
HULL: A popular charity shop is undergoing major refurbishment to give customers a modern shopping experience.
The Scope shop in Savile Street, Hull city centre, temporarily closed last Saturday for the week-long re-fit.
Scope is the leading UK disability charity for children and adults with cerebral palsy.
The shop refit will see the introduction of disabled access changing rooms and walls taken out to make the shop more spacious.
Vicky Scott, who has been manager of the shop for 12 years, said: "It's going to be amazing.
"It is so modern and fresh.
"The shop doesn't look like a charity shop – it's just like any normal high-street shop.
"It is very professional looking. It looks the business."
The shop will reopen this Saturday, January 28, at 10am.
