Hull woman punched masked man who grabbed handbag
NORTH HULL: A woman punched a would-be robber in the face after he tried to steal her handbag.
The man, whose face was covered by a scarf, slapped the woman in the face after trying to pull her handbag from her shoulder.

She then punched him in the face and he fled.
The attempted robbery happened as she walked close to the entrance to King George Fields, in Cottingham Road, at 6.50am yesterday.

The offender is described as being in his late teens, about 5ft 7in and was wearing dark clothing.
