Hull woman stabbed partner in leg and assaulted PC
WEST HULL: A woman who stabbed her partner in the leg has been given a suspended prison sentence.
Sarah Louise Key, 25, stabbed Christopher Dickinson during an argument on December 20.

When police were called, she assaulted PC Philip Baines.
Key, of Albert Avenue, admitted assaulting Mr Dickinson and PC Baines, failing to surrender to bail and breaching a conditional discharge when she appeared at Hull Magistrates' Court.

District Judge Frederick Rutherford said: "She stabbed her partner in the leg and continued behaving violently when the police attended. She also has a violent past."
Key was given a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and was ordered to complete a 12-month alcohol treatment requirement.
She must also pay £85 costs and an £80 victims' surcharge.

“With sentences this harsh you can understand Humberside Police giving cautions. Had this person been cautioned it would have saved the court time and if the lady had legal aid, the state would have saved money. The final result would have been the same, a violent offender on the streets!”
