Hullensians finish on high
HULLENSIANS ended their season on a high as they moved up to fifth in Yorkshire Two with an impressive 38-21 win over Doncaster Phoenix at Castle Park.
They took the lead when Chris Smith finished off a move by Andy Smith, James Krebs, Chris Harding and Joe Briggs.
It was extended when John Wilson linked with Chris Smith, who put Jason Conroy in for the second try, converted by Jamie Gill.
Gill converted the third try after JJ Burrell and Andy Smith combined to send Krebs in.

Conroy charged down a clearance kick to pin Phoenix in their own 22, and Rich Lamplough popped the ball to Krebs, who squeezed in at the corner for his second and Hullensians' bonus- point try for Hullensians for a 24-0 lead.
In the second half Chris Smith cantered over and Clayton McCloud scampered in for the sixth try, Gill converting both.
Phoenix's Owen Denovan sprinted under the posts to put Phoenix on the scoreboard. Mick Sykes added the conversion.
Hullensians had Chris O'Leary sin-binned and, having used all their replacements, lost a player to injury, so had to play the last 10 minutes with just 13 men.
Ceri Thomas and Ady Sheedy added two more tries with Sykes converting both to wrap up the scoring.
