HULL Ionians' final match of the season sees them play host Otley at Brantingham Park tomorrow (3pm).

Now safe in a mid-table position, Ionians want to keep the winning formula going to the end of the season after winning nine games and losing only three since Christmas.

Leading try scorer Joe Sanders (10), Sam Wilson (8) and Gary Stephenson (7) will all be keen to add to their tally.

Otley need to win to avoid relegation or Harrogate, who are one point below them, can overtake them if they win their relegation dogfight at home to Leicester Lions. If they lose and Otley win, the Lions will suffer relegation themselves.

“""Now safe in a mid table position" ?????? .... Someone was not so good at maths at school when 11th out of 16 teams is considered to be mid table :-)
Still, congratulations to Ionians on surviving the dreaded drop."”
