Jail for Hull shoplifter who spat at PCSO
EAST RIDING: A serial shoplifter who was given an antisocial behaviour order this month has been jailed.
Neil Francis Palmer, 32, was given an Asbo for spitting on and punching a PCSO after he was caught stealing from Sainsbury's in Willerby.

He was also given a suspended prison sentence for the offence.
Palmer has now admitted further thefts at Northfield News in Hessle, Sainsbury's in Cottingham and Superdrug in Hull city centre.

Magistrates in Beverley jailed him for four months for breaching his suspended sentence and for the shoplifting offences.

“Looking at his photo, he does look mentally deficient. A community order could maybe a better option where he has to work at the shops he stole from if only to pay them back for what he's stolen from them over the years. However, judging by his gimpy expression, it would be better to put him in jail and throw away the key. Of course, as others have already suggested, maybe lethal injection would be the prefered option for everyone concerned?”

“This man has cost this country hundreds of thousands of pounds during his life span in hospital costs , police , legal aid , cost of imprisonment ,benefits,drug orders ,rehabilitation programmes ,etc,etc, how long are we going to put up with this type of person before we come to our sense's and start putting them down , Neil Palmer will never , ever, be a decent ,honest worthwhile member of any community ,surely a lethal injection would be the best answer ?”
