Jailed: 'Animal' teens who tortured Hessle man for cash and phone
TWO teenage robbers have been branded "worse than animals" after torturing a man for his PIN.
Jarrad Grainger, 17, and Lewis Green, 18, threatened to pour boiling water over their victim and give him a "Chelsea grin" unless he revealed his PIN and handed over his money and phone.

'Worse than animals': Jarrad Grainger, 17, left, and Lewis Green, 18.
The 45-minute assault saw the 36-year-old victim punched ten times in the face and kicked in his home in Hessle.
As he begged to be released, Grainger and Green placed his driving licence card inside his mouth and punched him.
They picked up the casket containing his dog's ashes and threw them over him, before urinating on him.
Grainger, of Corran Garth, Hessle, and Green, of Saltash Road, Hessle, have both been jailed for four and a half years.
The Honorary Recorder of Hull and the East Riding, Judge Michael Mettyear, said: "The attack was grotesque and disgusting. To say the two of you acted like animals is an insult to animals.
"I have read about your disturbing backgrounds, but nothing begins to explain your vile behaviour.
"This robbery was aggravated by being committed in the victim's own home by persistence and a degree of violence gratuitously inflicted at a time when the victim actually wanted to co-operate with you.
"The most incredible thing is that people of your age could have been capable of this type of conduct and what you will be capable of in the future. It is very, very worrying.
"It is ghastly, gruesome and grotesque."
Grainger and Green both pleaded guilty at Hull Crown Court to robbery and theft and denied a charge of sexual assault.
The attack happened on June 13 at 11pm when the robbers entered his flat, despite him not wanting them there.
They repeatedly punched him while he was curled up in a ball and demanded money from him.
Green told Grainger: "boil the kettle Jarrad and we'll see if he has any money".
Green took his mobile phone and wallet and the victim gave them his PIN.
They told him to sit on the sofa and Grainger asked if he had ever had a "Chelsea grin" – a form of torture in which the victim's mouth is cut.
They put a driving licence card inside his mouth and punched him, causing him to suffer pain and cuts.
The terrified victim remained in the flat for an hour after the attack, before leaving to call the police.
He was taken to hospital and remained in overnight after suffering bruising, a broken nose and suspected fractures.
Grainger attempted to withdraw money from the victim's bank account.
In a victim impact statement, the man said: "I have struggled to sleep since the attack. I feel anxious and shaky. I'm fearful of going out and tearful."
When Grainger was arrested, he was found with 24 wraps of cannabis worth £138.
Grainger has no previous convictions.
Green has previous convictions for burglary, assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Green's barrister, Mark McKone, said: "He was taking drugs and had been drinking.
"He is appalled at what he did. His parents are shocked by what he has done."
