John Prescott: Iraq war 'cannot be justified'

"Two big mistakes of the last Labour government were the Iraq war and foundation hospitals. Prescott would get two cheers from me if he came out and said the latter was also a mistake. For the present government we can apparently afford to prosecute a multi-billion pound war in Afghanistan costing 430 of our young peoples lives but not provide basic support for unemployed young people.

I think you will find the invasion of Afghanistan was down to the last Labour Government as well, all Cameron is doing is trying to withdraw without leaving a complete mess, we should never have been there in the first place. Blair and Prescott should be tried as war criminals, lets also not forget Blair also made himself cosy with Jerry Adams, Martin McGuinness and Col Gaddafi, and then Browns Government allowed the Lockerbie bomber to walk free.”

As for Palestine and Israel- forget it, America backs Israel to the hilt; until the EU grows a pair and imposes sanctions on Israel they will carry on and oppress the indiginous population.
