BEVERLEY Musical Theatre group are looking to cast children and principles for their production of The Sound Of Music.

The show will be staged from June 4 to June 8 at Hull New Theatre.

The company are planning to hold open auditions on Sunday, January 6, and there are a variety of principal roles to suit adults and children of all ages.

Anyone familiar with the film will realise how large a cast is required.

Beverley Musical Theatre, formerly Beverley Operatic Society, perform musical shows, pantomimes and concerts in Beverley, Hull and the surrounding villages.

Based largely in Beverley itself, the society performs at various locations including the New Theatre in Hull, the Beverley Memorial Hall, the Middleton Hall at Hull University and the Longcroft School Hall in Beverley.
