“Ron, you say "old fashioned values" with an inferred pride.
There is nothing to take pride from in being old fashioned and stubborn. It means you havent moved on with the world and you have an outdated view on things.”

“It's not a matter of whether BT is better than KC or KC is better than Virgin, it's a matter of choice. I for one know I could be paying a lot less for my line rental and broadband. Which? Magazine have classed Karoo Broadband as a "Don't Buy"”

“Karoo is not good value. I am not against KC in anyway but Phone and Broadband for a comparative package is £300 a year cheaper on a Non-KC line.”

“dear rir, madam, having used kc for all of my computing days.i have nothing to compare with.what i can say is that when i was rearanging my house a kc engineer came to my house to sort out various cables.the engineer was very efficient and did a very good job.he was also a local person doing a job so we had a chat,he was married with children. i pay around £18 a month for 24/7 broadband mostly without disruption. people who on this website who complain about poor service or lack of other internet providers should take a step back and realise that we of hull enjoy being a part of kc.one of the reasons is because we remember when hull had the least expensive telephone exchange in the uk.long may kc provide my broadband and my telephone. no i am not a kc employee.i am just a person with old fashioned values”

“chris, east yorkshire (for readers information, not the same person)
The word is corporation not 'corperating'.
As a polite request, can contributors to this site use a dictionary. For the really ignorant or just dim people, the
dictionary is a reference text that lists words and the meaning thereof.
I understanding that most people in Hull (apologies to the exceptions) have no idea as to the existence of this publication.”

“Chris, East Riding, My story might help understand how you get charged for calls not made. several years ago I lived in Welwyn park , outside my house was a phone pole with wires spreading out to both sides of the st, I was in my bedroom and saw an engineer climb the pole he then took a phone out of his pocket clipped it to wires on the pole settled back into his harness and dialed a number I watched him for 20mins while he talked laughing and joking finishing his call with "see you soon".
I logged the time and date and waited for my bill to arrive, there was nothing on my bill but I bet someone paid for his call and god knows where it was too”

“stop your wining, B.T. is not as good as karoo.
richard east hull, you say you get better service for £25.76
do you get all your local calls free 24/7
do you also check your bills to see if their are calls you havn't made, i got that a few times when i lived in cumbria, they tried to say i had made 2 calls to resedential homes in penrith, i didn't know anyone in penrith but B.T. insisted i had made these calls.
they also tried to charge me for calls to the speaking cloce before my line was conected.
i think K.C. is far better than B.T.
it was always said when I was young that hull corperating phones where the best in the world”

“Dr Obviouso!, Off Line. I'm not trying to take a rise out of you but I don't think Karoo could make you or other users impotent for even an hour.”
