Lack of vaccines is a national problem
THE county's primary care trust said the current lack of vaccines is not a problem confined to Cottingham.
A spokesman for NHS East Riding of Yorkshire said: "We are aware of the delay to one supplier's delivery of seasonal flu vaccines.
"This is a national issue, which has affected a small number of GP practices in the East Riding and Hull.
"The Department of Health has advised GP practices to contact alternative suppliers if they are having problems. We are in contact with practices and we are doing what we can to support any that report difficulties with their supply."
