One of the 40 plastic toads marking the Larkin25 festival is believed to have been stolen.

Magenta Toad disappeared from its place at the Meltonwest business park, Gibson Lane, Melton, over the weekend.

Sponsored by Hull-based development company Wykeland, the toad is described as being bright pink with white designs on its body.

A Larkin25 spokeswoman confirmed the missing toad had been reported to the police.
