Hull FC's Tom Lineham tipped for top after signing long-term deal
TOM Lineham can be part of the Hull FC furniture for many years to come after agreeing a new four-year deal, says coach Peter Gentle
Out of contract at the end of the season, Lineham has committed his future to the club until the end of the 2017 campaign. It caps a remarkable rise through the ranks for the former rugby union amateur, who only arrived at Hull on trial from York City Knights two years ago.
The 21-year-old is Hull's top try scorer this season, bagging his first hat-trick against Castleford last week.
Gentle said: "There is no doubting Tom's obvious talent and he has done tremendously to get to this point, mainly through his work ethic and application, which is second to none. He is powerful, very fast and very strong.
