Local archaeological finds on show
The first in a series of mini-displays on local archaeological finds from the East Riding has opened at the Treasure House in Beverley.
The display features items purchased by East Riding Council's museums service over the past five years.

The Treasure House
Objects displayed include part of a silver Viking neck ring from Stamford Bridge and a gold memorial ring dating from the time of King James II.
The exhibition can be found in the café area on the first floor of the Treasure House.
Items will be on display until the end of the year.
The Treasure House is open from 9.30am to 5pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 9.30am to 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 9am to 4pm on Saturdays.
