He will partner American ice dancer Jenna Nicole Smith, who is making her debut on the show.

Luke said his experience in the ring would help him shine on the rink.

He said: "I'm used to performing – so not worried about that - every time I enter the ring it's a performance and nerve-wracking but it's the nerves that give you that great adrenaline.

"I want to be the determined one, I want to win. I want to show young kids that with hard work and determination, you can reach your goals."

Anthea Turner, Joe Pasquale, Keith Chegwin and Gareth Thomas will also take part.

Completing the line-up are Samia Ghadie, Lauren Goodger, Oona King, and Matt Lapinskas.

Let's hope that the king of the ring doesn't sink on the rink!”
