MP Graham Stuart 'in good spirits' after serious skiing accident
Beverley and Holderness MP Graham Stuart has thanked people for their warm wishes after he was involved in a serious skiing accident.
Mr Stuart is currently in hospital in France after he is believed to have suffered broken bones in the accident at the weekend.

Sources at Westminster claim he has broken five ribs and suffered a punctured lung.
Although details of the accident in Chamonix are sketchy, Mr Stuart is expected to be treated in the French hospital for up to three weeks before he is well enough to be allowed to fly home.

On his Facebook page he has posted: “Thank you all for your warm wishes.
“I appreciate them all and hope you’ll be pleased to know that I’m in good spirits.”
Dozens of residents have posted comments on his social network site wishing him a speedy recovery.
Lesley Taylor wrote: “Very best wishes. We look forward to seeing your smiling face again in Beverley very soon.”
Hafod Thewitch also wrote: “Hope the prognosis for recovery is swift and pain-free.”
