MP hopeful Claire Thomas praises Hull apprentices project
EAST YORKSHIRE: A parliamentary candidate has hailed the success of apprenticeships in the area.
The Liberal Democrat candidate for Hull West and Hessle, Claire Thomas, met with apprentices, local businesses and training providers on Friday as part of National Apprenticeship week.
A total of 1,100 people were on an apprenticeship last year in the Hull West and Hessle constituency.
Miss Thomas said: "It has been a pleasure to hear from apprentices and employers who have been making apprenticeships such a success in this area.
