Man charged in connection with Hull bank robberies
DETECTIVES are still investigating two bank robberies in west Hull after a man was charged.
Dean Andrew Wray, 42, appeared at Hull Magistrates' Court yesterday.
He is charged with two counts of robbery after a "substantial amount" of cash was stolen from Yorkshire Bank in Princes Avenue, west Hull, and NatWest in Hessle Road over two days last week.
Police increased patrols across the city after the offender allegedly claimed to be armed with a gun.

The case has now been transferred to Hull Crown Court and Wray will appear before a judge on March 11.
A spokesman for Humberside Police said although other arrests have been made in connection with the crimes, nobody else has been charged. He said: "The investigation is still on-going."
Detectives have thanked the public for their help after the robberies sparked a manhunt.
Anyone with information about the robberies or the stolen cash should call Humberside Police on 101.
