Man bailed over Lord Charles pub fire
A man arrested following a blaze that left a popular east Hull pub severely damaged has been bailed.
Firefighters were called to the Lord Charles pub in Annandale Road at 2.30am on Tuesday after neighbours witnessed black smoke billowing out of the building.

Four engines tackled the fire, which took about half an hour to bring under control.
Shortly afterwards, Humberside Police arrested the man, 46.

A Humberside Police spokeswoman said: "The fire caused damage to a number of seats inside the property.
"Nobody was inside at the time of the fire and police are now investigating the circumstances.
"The man arrested has been released on bail to a date in September. "
The fire damage was confined to one bar but the rest of the building was smoke-damaged. It is not clear how long the pub will be closed for.
