John Horner, 69, dies after being hit by car in Bilton

A MAN who was hit by a car in Bilton last week has died.

Police have named the man as John Horner, 69.

He was hit by a grey Vauxhall Zafira as he crossed the road at the junction of Main Street and Ark Royal in the village on Wednesday afternoon.

Mr Horner, of Camperdown, Bilton, suffered serious head injuries. He died in hospital on Friday night.

Any witnesses are asked to call Humberside Police on 101.
