Man rescued from mud on banks of River Hull
Firefighters freed a man who became trapped in mud on the banks of the River Hull last night.
The man became stuck just before 9.30pm close to the Drypool Bridge.
Police, firefighters and Humber Coastguard were all called to assist in the rescue.
A helicopter from RAF Leconfield was also scrambled.

The man was freed after 30 minutes and was taken to Hull Royal Infirmay as a precaution.
