Police are still appealing for witnesses after a 35 year-old was robbed as he walked along Digby Street, Scunthorpe, with his friend in the early hours of September 15.

A man approached the pair and became involved in a verbal altercation with the 35-year-old man before assaulting him and asking him to hand over his phone and cash.

The man declined but fearing he may be assaulted again gave the offender his jacket.

This was later recovered in the Buckingham Street area.
