A 20-year-old man has been sexually assaulted by two other men in a Beverley street.

It happened outside Cherry Tree Community Association, in Cherry Tree Lane, last Friday but was not reported to police until this Tuesday.

Officers say the man has undergone a medical examination.

They stress that the attack is being treated as an isolated incident.

The victim has described his attackers as two white men, one fat, one thin.

The larger of the two was bald and in his 30s. He wore a brown jacket with a fluffy collar and three large buttons as well as a large coin-type ring.

The other was a little younger, six feet tall and scruffy with short brown hair. He had a beard and wore a blue jacket with white markings.

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Mick Dudill on 0845 6060 222.
