Man suffers broken jaw following alleged assault outside Pozition nightclub
A Hull man was left with a broken jaw following an alleged assault outside Pozition nightclub.
The 19-year-old man is believed to have been attacked whilst sitting on the steps outside the George Street nightclub in the early hours of Friday, February 22.

The victim told police he had come out of Pozition at around 3am to get some fresh air, when he was approached by another man, with whom he had a brief conversation.
His next memory is of his friends gathering around him and realising two of his teeth were loose.

Although the man cannot properly recall what happened, police believe he may have been assaulted by the man who approached him on the steps.
The man was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary by taxi, where he had surgery for his broken jaw and remained for two days.
The man believed to have assaulted the victim is described as being 5ft 10ins in height and wearing a blue jumper with dark and light shades on it.
Police would like to speak to the man wearing the blue jumper and the taxi driver who transported the man to hospital.

“I can remember this happening to me a few years ago stood in the taxi queue opposite position. I still cant to this day remember the events leading up to it but I came around on the floor with a broken jaw and my brother talking to an officer. His response was something to the effect of "you're alive so stop moaning and move on". Funny how things have changed!”
