Man wanted for theft on Hessle Road: CCTV images

POLICE investigating a theft from Cash Converters in Hessle Road have released a CCTV still of the man they wish to speak to, along with images of some of the stolen goods.

The theft happened at 3.20pm on Saturday August 25.

A man entered the shop and left the front door partially open before approaching a glass display cabinet, which contained jewellery.

He smashed the glass and grabbed around 27 rings and some necklaces from the unit, shouting at staff as they approached him.

The suspect is described as a man, 5ft 8ins to 10ins tall, medium build, local accent, with a low, husky voice.

He was wearing a navy blue coloured hooded top with the hood up and a black and white scarf that was pulled up over his lower face.

Anyone with information about the theft or the whereabouts of the stolen jewellery is asked to contact Humberside Police on the non emergency number 101 referring to log number 502 of 25 August 2012.
