Manchester Arms ghost: Paranormal team to probe Hull pub
A paranormal investigations team will be hunting for ghostly residents at The Manchester Arms, in Hull's Old Town.
After the Mail revealed landlords Lisa and Mark Fowler believed there was a ghost haunting the pub, PSI Hull decided to hold its own investigation.

The ghostly face spotted at the Manchester Arms in Scale Lane, Hull
Last week, Lisa told the Mail she had nicknamed the ghost Beryl and she flickered lights, turned off machines and played with people's hair.
Mark Lindsay, of PSI Hull, said: "We are taking in the team to fully investigate the claims using a full range of equipment from night-vision full spectrum cameras to IP cameras with remote control and a ghostbox to detect different frequencies."

“My lad [albaz] had a dig at this nonsense and the similar takings boosting attempt at Kilham.
I just had a call to say there are people PAYING to join this "ghost hunt"!! Apparently money collected will go to charity.
Definitely not going to charity will be the takings from equally gullible people paying £18 to watch a "medium" contact the dead on Sunday.
After "psychic Steve" at Kilham,we now have Mark Lindsay + his "ghost box.
Beam me up Scotty... "”

“No doubt Mark will say this "ghostbox" is some kind of a scanning receiver cycling through the radio spectrum and it picks up signals and static from those not with this world no more.
If anyone wants to make their own ghostbox and listen to stuff like that, just put a transistor radio in an old shoebox and tune it to 95.9 FM Radio Humberside. Now you can listen to transmissions which very few people ever hear, but you run the risk of being bored to death.”

“Why do it on a Friday night? I guess takings are down, it would surely had made more sense to do it on a weekday night when it's not as busy/not open.”

“This attempt to boost takings, already much ridiculed and done earlier at Kilham, has got more ridiculous. "We are taking a ghost box" . Yes of course you are,now take your medication and lie down....”
