Meet David Work
Meet David Work at the latest exhibition of his work in Bainton . . .

Artist David Work
An exhibition sure to prove popular with Journal readers features our resident artist, David Work, and his paintings that have been reproduced in the magazine for the past year.
The exhibition will be held in the art gallery at the Wolds Village tearoom, restaurant and craft shop at Bainton, from Thursday 8th October until Wednesday 14th October.
David will be attending a special preview evening on 8th October, from 6-9pm and we have free tickets to give away for any Journal reader who would like to attend. They are available on a first come, first served basis by ringing the editor, Roy Woodcock, on 077300 52727, or emailing r.woodcock@mailnewsmedia.co.uk
There will be prints of the paintings featured in The Journal on sale, plus a limited number of his original works.
In addition, David will also be present at the exhibition between 2pm and 4pm on the Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Wednesday and painting at the gallery on the Sunday, Monday and Wednesday of the exhibition, between 10am and 1pm.
Normal opening hours for the exhibition will be between 10am and 4pm.
“We reproduce four of David’s originals, mainly of East Yorkshire locations, every month and it continues to be one of our most popular features,” said editor Roy Woodcock. “This is a great opportunity to see all of the paintings again, together with David’s other work, and a rare opportunity to meet the artist himself.”
