Men charged over Holderness Road bookmakers assault

A 34-year-old man needed surgery after he was allegedly assaulted as he left a bookmakers in Holderness Road, east Hull.

He was approached as he left William Hill at about 9.30pm on Wednesday, October 24.

The man suffered a wound to his hand and wrist and had to undergo surgery but is now recovering at home.

Two suspects have since been identified.

Paul Snowley, 21 of Mersey Street, east Hull, has been charged with attempted robbery and David Michael Green, 22, of no fixed address, has been charged with attempted robbery, section 18 wounding and possession of an offensive weapon. Both were remanded in custody.
