After the storming box office success of Ted, his live-action movie following the antics of a foul-mouth toy bear, Seth MacFarlane has revealed plans for his next big screen outing. The Family Guy creator is to write, direct and, if that's not enough, star in a Western comedy called A Million Ways To Die In The West.

Plot details are still scarce, but MacFarlane has likened the movie to Mel Brooks' classic beans-fest Blazing Saddles.

It's official. Acclaimed Bond movie Skyfall is the UK's biggest-ever film.

The latest, and 23rd, 007 adventure starring Daniel Craig as the MI6 agent with the licence to kill officially broke Avatar's humongous box office record last weekend.

So far the movie has taken a incredible £94,277,612 at cinemas in the UK alone. Globally, it has taken $870m – keeping it on course to be the first Bond movie to break $1bn in box office takings.
