JJ Abrams has hinted Star Trek 2 will have a happy ending.
The director recently joined stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Chris Pine in Tokyo to promote his new movie Star Trek Into Darkness, and fansite trekmovie.com has revealed details of a video interview he gave in Japan.
JJ said: "I don't like going to the movies to feel bad.
"This is very much a movie about hope, about love, about romance, and about facing something that is truly terrifying and finding a way through the connection of your family and surviving and being stronger afterwards."
Carmen Electra has revealed she is feeling broody.
The 40-year-old actress, who is dating X Factor mogul Simon Cowell, said becoming a mum was "the only thing I haven't done in life".
