Brit actress Kate Beckinsale is set to star in a big screen adaptation of one of Edgar Allan Poe's gothic horror stories.
The film, which is provisionally called Eliza Graves, is said to be loosely based on Poe's 1845 short story, The System Of Doctor Tarr And Professor Fether.

Will Smith has hired a new writer to get his Colossus blockbuster off the ground.
The film, which is a loose remake of 1970s sci-fi thriller Colossus: The Forbin Project, revolves around a scientist who creates a super-intelligent computer only to discover it has plans of world domination all of its own.
The movie is now being penned by Ed Solomon, who wrote one of Smith's earlier sci-fi hits Men In Black.
The bulging cast of Anchorman 2 has swelled again with the addition of both Greg Kinnear and Indiana Jones himself, Harrison Ford.
