Two powerful Passion pageants from the York Medieval Mystery cycle of plays are to be staged at Holy Trinity Church.
Running from today to Saturday, The Conspiracy sees Judas Iscariot offer to betray Christ for 30 pieces of silver.

In Christ Before Annas And Caiaphas, Jesus is hauled in front of the Chief Priests, subjected to brutal questioning, mocked and tortured.
The plays are being performed by students from the department of music and drama at the University of Hull.
