New beer for festival
A BEER is set to be launched for the town's first real ale festival.
Great Newsome Brewery has produced the ale especially for the event on the weekend of October 19 and 20.
Its name, White Rabbit, was suggested by a user on a social networking site and refers to the hare carving at festival venue St Mary's Church. The beer will be launched by Olympic hammer thrower Alex Smith at the New Inn in Leven on Tuesday at 7pm.
