Changes are to be made to the definitive map of Barton, recognising public rights of way in the town.

North Lincolnshire Council has published an order detailing the changes, under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.

A total of eight footpaths are detailed in the order.

They are:

A 113-metre footpath from Summerdale to Bowmandale.

A 45-metre footpath from Eider Close to Riverbank Rise.

A 47-metre footpath from Riverbank Rise to Heron Way.

An 84-metre footpath from Eastfield Road to Prince Charles Drive.

A 53-metre footpath from Queen Elizabeth Way to Millbrook Way.

A 62-metre footpath from Victoria Drive and along Dam Road, to the south-west corner of Kelleon House.

A 90-metre footpath from Victoria Drive to Dam Road.

A 66-metre footpath, also from Victoria Drive to Dam Road.

The order and map can be viewed online at www.northlincs.gov.uk or at Church Square House in Scunthorpe.

Representations or objections to the order must be received by North Lincolnshire Council by Friday, November 2.
