AN ORIENTEERING challenge is being held next Saturday on Beverley Westwood.

Organised by Humberside and Lincolnshire Orienteers (Halo), the start and finish for the event will be close to the car park, near the York Road and Newbald Road junction.

The Saturday events are aimed at beginners to the sport but always include a technical course for the more advanced.

There will be four courses as normal: white for juniors, yellow for improving juniors, orange for adult beginners and experienced juniors and technical for experienced orienteers. Starts will be from 1pm to 3pm.
