“Did the ferry arrive back in Hull on time this morning? I noticed that traffic was lighter on Hedon Road and Castle Street at 8.30 this morning, so I wondered if the ferry was in on time or not?”

“Dontwo, get your facts right before you offer any armchair engineering expertise, an oil leak was not the problem, quite the opposite. Tha engine room team have worked hard to get the ship to port, without being towed in, as other reports claim.”

“Wouldnt like to be the engineers who are supposed to maintain this ship. An "oil leak" for a well maintained ship with such a dedicated professional engine room team isnt really an option is it Chief?.
Someone on this ship hasnt done their job properly, either by maintainence or by checking components and its ok casually passing it off as an "oil leak" like you get on badly maintained cars, but the consequences could have been disastrous.”

“Was it a frozen oil leak in the shape of an iceberg?”
