Paul Cooke: Tom Lineham is credit to Hull FC youth system
TOM Lineham's new contract, which will keep him at Hull FC for another four years, was great news for the club this week.
His emergence in 2013 is, for me, the shining light in a disappointing start to the campaign.
It again shows to other youngsters at the club that hard work, dedication and skill will be rewarded at first grade level.
Watching the 21-year-old brings back early memories of a certain Tom Briscoe on the opposite wing.

He's big, strong and aggressive with a huge amount of skill.
Lineham is improving the positional aspect of his game every week, and there's no doubt he possesses all the qualities to become one of the FC stars for years to come.
Lineham is a joy to watch and his inexperience only makes him more watchable.
He's not interested too much about the technical side of the game, he just wants to be involved, get the ball and run as hard as he possibly can, no matter who is in his way.
Lineham is a credit to the tireless work of the coaches at Hull at youth level.
And, more recently, Peter Gentle has handled his development with care and precision.
I, for one, cannot wait to see the further development of one of the brightest young British players in a black and white jersey.
