Pedestrian, 34, dies in road accident in Market Weighton
A pedestrian has died following an accident in Market Weighton.
The woman, 34, died on Londesborough Road, Market Weighton just after 8.30pm last night.

She was hit by a Vauxhall Agila driven by a woman, 65, from the Market Weighton area.
The victim was trying to cross the road at the time. She died at the scene.

The woman is believed to have been a passenger in a blue Ford Focus car which had stopped to let her out. She was hit while returning to the car.
The driver of the Vauxhall Agila was not injured.
Officers investigating the accident are appealing for witnesses. Anyone with any information should call Humberside Police on 101.
