A woman who was hit by a cyclist in Hull city centre remains in a serious condition in hospital.

The 41-year-old was walking across a pedestrian crossing on Anlaby Road, opposite Horners public house, at 2.40pm yesterday.

Police said she suffered head injuries and bruising to her chest.
